The Internet Helping People Lose Weight

Fitness web sites are as good as in-print advice, and many Internet surfers have replaced print media health web sites as their main source for fitness information, according to a new study reported in the Archives of Internal Medicin Some of the study participants were required to use certain web sites for information regarding their physical exercising efforts, while others were required to only use certain print materials received by mail. All participants completed questionnaires to keep track of their workout programs. After a year, participants from both groups were doing similarly well, found the researchers.
